M. I. Room

General

To provide basic health services and necessary medical facilities to FCCL Employees and the local communities. Fauji Cement Company Limited established an M. I. Room in 1998. It is a small dispensary type welfare hospital where qualified staff has been detailed to provide first aid and necessary check up to the employees and local community totally free of cost.

Staff

A total of seven staff members including two MBBS Doctors along with three nursing assistants and two helpers are detailed in the M. I. Room.

Timings

M. I. Room starts its working daily at 10:00 hours till 13:00 hours five days a week from Monday – Saturday.

Division of M. I. Room

M. I. Room of FCCL Site is divided into following two categories:-

M. I. Room 1 (for FCCL Employees)

M. I. Room 1 is for FCCL Employees only in which basic health services are being provided to FCCL Employees working at Site. Approximately 20 – 25 patients are being entertained daily in this dispensary and medicines of Rs 30,000/- Per month are being consumed here. It is situated inside factory premises.

M. I. Room 2 (For Local Patients)

M. I. Room 2 is for local community only in which basic health services are being provided to the local community free of cost. Approximately 70 – 80 patients are being entertained daily. Medicines of Rs 30,000/- Per month are being consumed here. It is situated outside factory premises.

Fauji Model School

General

To provide education facilities to the staff and local community, Fauji Cement Company Limited established a secondary school at the Site on 4th May 1998. The school is fully equipped with modern educational facilities including a Science Laboratory and qualified staff.

The Board of Governors comprises the following:-

* MD FCCL, Chief Executive

* General Manager (Plant), Chairman

* Manager (Adm & Security- Site), Administrator & Secretary

Establishment

The school was established on 4th May 1998 and the school building comprises of modern classrooms, Science Laboratory, Computer laboratory and a library with wide range of educational books.

Classes

The classes from Nursery to Matric are being taught in the school and total number of students enrolled are 460.

Staff

The total number of staff working in the school is 33 including Principal, Teachers, Physical instructor and other administrative and supporting staff. The staff is fully trained and qualified as they are recruited under direct supervision of General Manager (Plant).
