Fauji Cement Company has standing requirement for under mentioned items:

1. Coal
    a. Imported Coal including Afghani Coal
    b. Local Coal

2. Gypsum

3. Laterite

4. Limestone Dust

5. Packing Material
    a. Polypropylene Bags
        i.  Domestic use
        ii. For Export purpose
    b. Paper Sacks
        i.  2-ply Paper sacks
        ii. 3-ply Paper sacks

Coal:

FCCL purchases coal from different origins e.g South Africa, Indonesia, Afghanistan and Local Coal. Our present consumption is about 15,000 MT to 16000 MT per month but on commissioning of new plant in May/June 2011 it will enhanced to 45,000 MT to 48,000 MT per month. Coal having following specifications is generally acceptable but coal of better specifications is given priority:-

Minimum Acceptable Specifications:

a. Indonesian Coal

b. South African Coal

Note.

1. Rate of Coal for Indonesian or South African will be finalized as per the quality of offered coal.
2. Payments will be made as under:-
1. On CNF Basis. LC at sight/Ussuance LC.
2. On FOR Basis.
   1. Freight charges will be paid at factory after 48 hours of Receiving Report.
   2. Ninety Percent (90%) of the total cost of material will be paid by Head Office (Finance Department) on 15th day of Receiving Report.
   3. Ten percent (10%) of remaining amount will be paid on successful completion of Purchase Order after adjustment of premium/penalties as agreed.
3. Quantity. Minimum 40,000 MT - 45,000 MT per month.

d. Local Coal

Note.

1. Rate of Coal for Afghani and local will be finalized on FOR basis only as per the quality of offered coal.
2. Payments will be made as under:-
1. Freight charges will be paid at factory after 48 hours of Receiving Report.
2. Ninety Percent (90%) of the total cost of material will be paid by Head Office (Finance Department) on 15th day of Receiving Report.
3. Ten percent (10%) of remaining amount will be paid on successful completion of Purchase Order after adjustment of premium/penalties as agreed.
3. Price to be quoted on FOR Site Located: Near Village Jhang, Tehsil Fatehjang and District Attock.

Gypsum:

Present consumption is about 6,000 - 7,000 MT per month but on commissioning of new plant in May/June 2011 it will enhance to about 18,000 MT per month.

Acceptable Specifications of Gypsum:

Note.

1. Price to be quoted on FOR Site Located: Near Village Jhang, Tehsil Fatehjang and District Attock.
2. Rates will be adjusted if purity is found less than 75% and TM increases above 5%.
3. Payments will be made as under:-
1. Freight charges will be paid at factory after 24 hours of Receiving Report.
2. Cost of material will be paid by Head Office (Finance Department) on 15th day of Receiving Report after adjustment of premium / penalties as agreed..

Laterite:

Present consumption is about 6,000 to 7,000 MT per month but on commissioning of new plant in May/June 2011 it will enhance to about 18,000 MT per month.

2. Rates will be adjusted if Fe₂O₃ is found less than 35% and Al₂O₃ increases above 8%.

Limestone Dust

Present consumption is about 60,000 - 80,000 MT per month but on commissioning of new plant in May/June 2011 it will enhance to about 180,000 MT per month.

Present consumption is about 1,111,000 - 1,500,000 bags per month but on commissioning of new plant in May/June 2011 it will enhance to about 3,300,000 - 4,500,000 bags per month.

Specifications

Paper Bags - 2 Ply & 3 Ply :

Present consumption is about 800,000 - 1,000,000 bags per month but on commissioning of new plant in May/June 2011 it will enhance to about 2,400,000 - 3,000,000 bags per month.
