Meeting Board of Directors
Board of Directors meeting has been scheduled to be held at 1200 hours on 30 October 2008 for approval of Ist Quarter un-audited accounts for the quarter ended 30 September 2008.

Fauji Cement Takes the Lead
In pursuance of its commitment to produce cement under stringent environment friendly conditions, Fauji Cement Company Limited (FCCL) has taken the lead by installing first ever Refuse Derived Fuel (RDF) Processing Plant at a cost of Rs. 300 Million.   Read more
Installation of New Line 7200 TPD

To meet the future challenges of Cement Industry and Country's future demand, FCCL has planned to install a new line of production with an installed capacity of 7200 tons per day in parallel with the existing line.

In this regard service and supply contract have been signed with world famous German Cement Plant manufacturer i.e. Polysius Thyssenkrupp Germany, ABB Switzerland (Electrical equipment & PLC), Havor & Boecker (Packing Plant) and Loesche GmbH Germany (for vertical cement mills). The contracts have been made effective from 1st October 2007.

Contract with M/s Descon Engineering Limited for civil design and civil works of whole plant, fabrication, erection and commissioning has been signed. M/s Descon Engineering has also mobilized at site and has established their workshop, offices and residential colony for their staff. Civil works and fabrication of mechanical equipment has already started at site.

Imported equipment will start arriving at FCCL site in October 2008. Commissioning of plant will be started  “INSHALLAH” by March / April 2010.

Captive Power Plant
6 MW power plant has been commissioned in the month of July 2007 and is operating successfully.
A New Captive Power Plant for New Line

A new captive power plant for new line project is under progress. In this regard Supply and Services contracts for 16 MW dual fired (Gas + Oil) power plant was been signed with M/s Wartsilla Finland.  

Engine has arrived at Karachi and is on the way to FCCL from Karachi port. Other accessories of power plant have arrived at FCCL site.

Civil work has been awarded to Descon Engineering Ltd and local fabrication and erection of mechanical equipment to M/s Wright Engineering Co (PVT) Ltd.

Power Plant will be commissioned “INSHALLAH” by the end this year.

Training Facilities

Company is also spending more than 10 million rupees by purchasing training simulators of critical sections of the plant as well as sending its engineers abroad for training/seminars to enhance the capabilities of its technical staff and to up date them with modern challenges of cement industry.

ISO 14001:2004 Certification

ISO certification has been awarded on October 02, 2007 by Moody International Certification Limited.
